Farting detracts racoons from your yard with the smell. This is known to be true and is used commonly.


Naturally there are chemicals in fart that detract racoons.

One of the best ways I know of to keep ANY critter out of your yard is to place:


pie tins


towels


paper towels


small trays (the disposable ones that you can buy in threes at a grocery store)








with ammonia. Small amounts is all that is needed.


Animals have a higher scent level than we do. You probably won't smell it, but the raccoon will.





This has kept raccoons, skunks, squirrels, deer (that eat my plants), snakes and even mice from ravaging my yard.

I don't have racoon's where i live but this is what i do to keep critters away. Find the place in your yard that they like best. Mix up a concoction of black pepper, cayenne pepper dry chillie powder (hottest). Spread this around the area they like the most (carefull to not get on any plants etc. One whiff of this dry powdery concoction and they will soon get the message. And the good thing is it will not harm the animal in any way.





Make sure this powder does not get wet as it will coagulate into a skudge and defeat the purpose
