Is it true that if a racoon is out during the daytime, that it is rabid?

Definitely not. They will be out in the daytime in a couple of circumstances - 1) if they didn't get enough to eat during the night 2) they are habituated (meaning grown used to people) and people have been feeding them in the day.Is it true that if a racoon is out during the daytime, that it is rabid?
Not Necessarily. Raccoons can adapt their behavior to benefit the most from their environment - if there aren't too many humans around during the day then certainly they'll come out to scavenge. Is it true that if a racoon is out during the daytime, that it is rabid?
No, not at all, I have seen several out in the day. They probably just did not get enough to eat the night before and are still out foraging.
I wouldnt think so, Ive seen lots of raccoons in the daylight that looked very healthy, although they're usually out at night - sneeking around
Not all racoons out in the daytime have rabids. I seen one in the morning and just by looking at it there was something wrong with it.
