How do i get rid of racoon's in my home attic?

Double the rent. They're cheap lil buggers. How do i get rid of racoon's in my home attic?
My sister had this same problem. She bought a trap especially for this type of animal and put it outside her house. It traps them alive and they cannot get out once they go in it. They will come out of the attic at night and go back in about daylight in the morning. She put bread or crackers in the trap and caught them one at a time and took them to the game reserve in our town and let them go. If you know someone with a farm, you might ask if you could let them go there also. Hope this helps. How do i get rid of racoon's in my home attic?
Shoot it it might get blood everywhere but hey its dead! or put a humane animal catcher cage there
First, figure out how they're getting in and out. They'll definitely have to go outside, so there will be an opening somewhere that they're using. It's often a vent or other access point that's intended for humans.

Once you have that identified, sprinkle flour around the entry area. If you do this in the daytime, they'll leave and come back overnight, and the next day, you should be able to confirm how many there are, by the number of paw prints going in and out.

Then, sprinkle a fresh batch of flour around the area, so that the other prints are covered. When you see enough prints going out to know that they're all outside, cover up the entry point. This is a little tricky, since raccoons are generally nocturnal...I have had them in my house (through the cat door) at 5:00 AM. If you can get up early enough, you should be able to figure out their pattern and stop them from coming back in.
Get a professional to do it. Or get some live traps. Catch all the raccoons. Than make sure your attic is raccoon proof. Block up where they got in %26amp; check for other weak areas they might use %26amp; block them up too. Good luck
..moth balls work prety good..
find sumtin that eats rackoons and put it in your attic
Call a wildlife relocator group to put out a live trap. They will then take away the raaccon. Please do NOT handle it yourse;lf. as raccoons are extremely nasty and will bite and scratch.
