They are both fine with shrimp and starfish or any other inverts they will nip and kill hard corals usually not soft corals like mushrooms or polyps(HELP TEN POINTS)are Auriga Butterflyfish or racoon butterly safe to keep with inverts?
it would be risky for either butterflyfish. in the wild they may pick at, or around, inverts. the raccoon will also nip at corals. they're both better really in fish-only tanks, and keeping the two together could prove risky also.





edit: what size is your tank? some tangs are generally herbivorous, but need very large tanks (75-100 gallons plus).
