Find a stump with a hole in it about the size of a coons hand. place a quarter down in the hole so you can see it shine. The next part is kind of cruel but works, driver nails down in log on angles around hole the coon will stick his hand in the hold to grab the ';shiny'; quarter and he wont let go or be able to get his hand out because the nails will stop him
if u wanna just trap it.....make a fairly large box out of like plywood, then stand it up by a peice of wood that is not hard to move. put some food under it and racoons or other creatures will go in and eat, knock the board down and it is trapped
